About Us:

Set in the picturesque heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, our wine tasting rooms are more than just establishments – they’re a journey. A journey into the realm of fine wines, memorable encounters, philanthropy bundled together while working for a small family ran business. 

Your Role:

As our Sales Associate, you’re not just selling wine – you’re crafting stories. You’ll be the face of our wineries, driving sales and delivering impeccable customer service. Whether it’s recommending a bottle, signing up a new club member, or guiding the guests Carmel-by-the-Sea experience, you will make every encounter unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:

· Be the pulse of our tasting rooms, seamlessly navigating between both locations.

· Drive sales passionately, with a focus on bottle sales and signing up club memberships.

· Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, setting new benchmarks of excellence.

· Act as a local concierge, providing guests with recommendations to enhance their visit.

· Learn and master our Mac-based POS system quickly, ensuring smooth transaction.

· Anticipate company needs, always staying a step ahead in delivering exceptional customer service as part of a team.

· Efficiently manage all areas of our tasting room space, ensuring a productive and organized work environment.

· Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends & holidays.

· Assist our Administrative Office as needed along with supporting the owners.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

· Stellar communication skills – your words are as captivating as our wines.

· Proven track record in sales with an ability to meet or surpass sales targets.

· Flexible multitasker who can handle the pace and vibrancy of two tasting rooms.

· Quick learner, especially with new tech and systems.

· An innate sense of responsibility, complemented by unmatched common sense and strong work ethics.

· Have pride in arriving everywhere on time.

· Stellar communication skills—both written and verbal.

· An uncanny ability to multitask without dropping the ball.

· Ability to lift 40lbs, go up and down stairs with ease and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
