- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
- Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
- Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Strong decision making skills.
- Ensures company is compliant with all federal, state and local human resources laws.
- Interpret and apply human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Keeps up-to-date on changes and updates in employment law.
- Provides orientation when welcoming and integrating new employees.
- Oversees employee recordkeeping including new hires, performance appraisals, employee transfers, separations and exit interviews.
- Creates and maintains current job descriptions for all employees.
- Fosters a workplace environment consistent with the values and vision of the company.
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes company assignments and maintains professional composure under pressure and dynamic conditions.
- Adjusts to new situations encountered on a daily basis and has the ability to learn new duties quickly.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
- 5 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Google Suite experience is preferred.
- HR or Recruiting experience in an industrial field is preferred.
