Full-time position in Carbondale, CO
(Glenwood Springs to Aspen)
$60,000 - $160,000 annual salary excellent benefits & flexibility
We currently support the cities of Carbondale, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Gypsum, Eagle, Avon, Vail, Gunnison & Crested Butte
Qualifications:
B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of EIT certification, along with or working towards a PE/SE license
Entry (3 years) to senior-level structural engineer (14 years)
Responsibilities:
Design building structures of wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials
Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, other project team members
Provide excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports
Apply & continually advance knowledge of:
Structural engineering principles & applicable building/design codes
Structural analysis software, including RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, Forte, etc.
Documentation & collaboration software, including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit &/or Archicad
Foster strong relationships with our community, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, engineers & building departments
Be ethical, professional, proactive & thoughtful
