State Tested Nursing Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. As an STNA, you will provide essential care and support to patients in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and medical offices. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a comfortable and healing environment for patients
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Qualifications:
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and critical care patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms
