As a procurement specialist at Victors Home Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies necessary for our roofing projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining inventory levels to support ongoing operations.

Objectives of this role:

  • Analyze project requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives
  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and establish partnerships that align with the company's quality and cost standards
  • Source and procure roofing materials from reliable suppliers while ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards
  • Monitor supplier performance, address any issues or discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance
  • Manage inventory levels of roofing materials and supplies to support ongoing projects and prevent stockouts or excess inventory
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments, forecast future material needs, and optimize inventory turnover to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, or contractual disputes, through proactive risk assessment and contingency planning
Qualifications and skills:
  • 3 Years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems or procurement platforms
