Armstrong Pharmaceuticals is Hiring a Compounder Near Canton, MA

A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for a Compounder. The Compounder measures and blends the appropriate raw materials into the batches of medication. Maintains cleanliness of all equipment required to perform the job task.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identification and weighing of raw materials.
  • Cleaning, inspection and assembly of blending equipment and holding tanks.
  • Assembly of filters.
  • Performance of all documentation functions connected with the batching process to provide proper accountability and traceability.
  • Clean and prepare the blending and storage tanks along with appropriate documentation.
  • Insuring the proper and timely calibration of all instruments related to the compounding operation.
  • Assisting Q.A., Chemistry and Inventory Control in the management of raw materials, with respect to quantity, suitability and expiration.
  • Generating work orders for the proper maintenance of all compounding equipment and Compounding Area.
  • Take sample for incoming chemicals.
  • Handle the waste water or chemicals

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work unsupervised as a team member.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • High level of alertness and attention to detail.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school education. A Degree in Chemistry or other Science or Engineering is preferred.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

May require overtime or adjustable hours when necessary to accommodate the filling schedule or unforeseen circumstances.
