*This is a contractor position*
ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will provide routine and emergency dental care, assessments and diagnosis to offenders in the Colorado Department of Corrections facilities. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Providing diagnosis and treatment in routine and emergency care
- Providing dental care including, but not limited to, diagnostic, preventative, restorative, periodontal, endodontal, oral surgery and prosthetics
- Development and implementation of patient treatment plans
- Maintenance of health records and compliance with HIPAA standards
- Patient education related to preventative and self-care
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- Ability to provide dental care within a correctional facility to the incarcerated population
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of dental standards and guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English both in writing and verbally
- The ability to complete and pass a strict background screening process
