The City of Little Canada is seeking a Community Development Director. The position will lead the City’s community development efforts, including management of the Community Development Department activities including planning, economic development, building and code enforcement. The position serves as staff liaison to the Planning Commission and will work closely with other units of government such as the Metropolitan Council and Ramsey County.
Minimum qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban or Regional Planning, Business Management, or closely related field and three (3) years of relevant municipal experience in planning, community development, economic development, or project management. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
A Master’s Degree in Public Administration or closely related field, five (5) years of experience and AICP, EDFP, or CEcD certification preferred.
The anticipated hiring range is $99,125 - $109,107 annually. You must apply online through the City’s website.
