Job Title: Marketing Insight Analyst

Location: Hybrid to Camden NJ (3 days per week)

Duration: 1 year Contract

Compensation Range: $50-60/HR W2

Job Description:

The candidate would support the Marketing Analytics, Insights, and Research team. This position requires someone with a heavy analytical skill set and background. This candidate would be required to mine and synthesize Digital Marketing & Sales primary/secondary performance metrics to derive Marketing insights (i.e., ability to explain the "why” behind the "what”) beyond just reporting data. The expected output would be the ability to synthesize and translate findings into a cohesive story for executive-level consumption.The ideal candidate is someone who is curious-minded and possesses the ability to ask good questions to help solve the underlying root business challenges in order to improve the client's overall customer experiences.

This includes resources dedicated to managing and supporting their market channel optimization, audience segmentation, and messaging optimization support.

Day to Day:

• Someone with hands-on data experience - SQL, Python, etc but be able to manipulate the data and create stories. Take the data and translate it into a story (ie a PPT) that executive-level folks can then translate and understand.
• "I know what question you're asking, let me pull the data and work to synthesize this into a story”
• 25% manipulating data, 75% cleaning up and presentation (synthesize information) and provide insights about the data
• Responsible for helping to evaluate and develop relevant consumer insights to improve Marketing Communications' go-to-market strategy.
• Required to mine and synthesize Digital Marketing & Sales data from various sources
• Primary/secondary performance metrics to derive Marketing insights (i.e., ability to explain the "why” behind the "what”)
• Analyzing how are users interacting within the channel on the site - understand the experience the customer is having on the site and then figuring out the conversion (because this is then transferred to Tier 3 retailer sites)

Must haves:

• Able to provide examples of when they have used data to support marketing teams
• Familiarity with Data, connecting the dots, making a story out of what they are seeing
• An Analytics tool - Adobe (what the client uses), Google
• Experience looking at table data, pulling together summaries of data & synthesizing data from various sources
• Writing skills & presentation skills - clear concise writing of summaries "the why behind the what” & ability to present findings to teammates/sr leadership
• A drive and energy, natural curiosity
• Excel - light pivot tables, etc (willingness and ability to learn the tech)
• SQL, Python

• Data viz, visual dashboards - Tableau/PowerBI/any platform
