Quality Staffing Services is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Cambridge, MD
Salary: $41,000 / Year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Cambridge, Maryland
What you will get to do:
- Sample and review analytical data of product and release batches for processing/packaging, assuming responsibility for the in-process quality of product and packaging.
- Approving line for USDA production in lieu of USDA inspector evaluations and assisting in the evaluation of product quality when non-conformances arise.
- Monitor downstream packaging for accuracy and quality, monitor sanitation practices of the facility through Pre-Operational and During Operational Checklists and assist with monthly sanitation audit of facility.
- Monitor Critical Control Points as well as other documentation for accuracy, monitor packaging integrity throughout destruction teardown and package evaluation.
- Notify appropriate parties of any deviations to products, packaging or paperwork.
Education: High School Diploma / Equivalent Required
- Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have demonstrated experience following instructions/processing documents and providing effective communication, both written and verbal
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers, including fractions and decimals is required
