Didion Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full Time Lab Technician in Cambria.

What you can expect:

As a Lab Tech at Didion Inc., you can expect a dynamic and engaging work experience. Starting off, you will undergo comprehensive training to familiarize yourself with our laboratory procedures and protocols. Your main responsibilities will involve conducting various tests, analyses, and experiments to support our research and development efforts in the food ingredient industry. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for sample preparation, data collection, and recording results accurately.

You will also be expected to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborating with a team of scientists and technicians, you will contribute to ongoing projects and assist in troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.

You will be working on a 2-2-3 rotation which means you will be working 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am ($3/hr shift premium). This allows for a balanced work-life schedule and provides consistency for your planning and personal commitments.

To be successful as a Lab Tech at Didion Inc., there are several key skills and qualifications required. These include:

  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). While prior quality assurance experience is preferred, we are willing to train individuals who are motivated and eager to learn.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with internal stakeholders and communicating across departments.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary to effectively communicate with team members within and external to the quality department.
  • A positive and proactive demeanor is vital, along with a passion for excellence and a humble confidence. We value individuals who display a can-do attitude and continuously strive for improvement.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills are required, as you will be responsible for overseeing multiple equipment and processes while maintaining attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously is crucial. You should have a demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and troubleshoot issues independently and safely.
