Staffing Network is Hiring a QC Technician Near Calhoun, GA

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for establishing, implementing, overseeing, and enforcing quality control standards in the Calhoun, GA plant. The technician will be involved in all phases of the production lifecycle from evaluating raw materials to inspecting finished products to verify they meet target specifications. The technician will conduct testing, take measurements, or perform other assessments, which may include chemical analysis.

Job Duties of QC Tech:

  • Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, interpreting, documenting, and storing the results.
  • Log quality and product issues in Company’s ISO quality platforms (SCM & CORE)
  • Communicate approved test results in a timely manner.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in and around the lab.
  • Troubleshoot problems and review basic product specifications. Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment periodically.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.
  • Packaging and label samples and shipments to meet all appropriate regulatory standards.
  • Work in a safe and healthy manner observing all Company USA procedures.
  • Maintain lab and plant quality testing equipment and accessories to ensure calibration and calibration records are up to date and ISO9001:2015 compliant.
  • Work with Global Quality Team and Global Quality Management
  • Assist with plant production when necessary.
  • Attend / manage pilot batches of new products.
  • Ability to operate Hyster and /or other plant equipment.

Qualifications of QC Tech:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of QC Experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other related sciences.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
