The College of Idaho invites applications and recommendations for aCounselor to join our Counseling
& Health Services team. This position will assist in our student’s well-being by providing individual,
group, and couples counseling/therapy managing an average caseload of 20-25 clients per week.
The Counselor will have the opportunity to train and supervise a select group of students as Peer
Health Advocates and collaborate with colleagues across campus and with other external professionals
to strengthen the student support systems and provide health and wellness educational programming.
The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in counseling from a CACREP-accredited
program, an LCPC, or LCSW, from Idaho State Licensure or be able to apply for and gain Idaho
licensure. At least three years of professional counseling experience is preferred.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as of the expected hire date and
throughout the date of their employment without sponsorship from The College of Idaho. A current
valid driver’s license is also required and candidates must be vehicle insurable.
