Denstock Management is Hiring a General Cleaner Near Crozet, VA
A luxury apartment community in Crozet, Virginia is seeking a full time General Cleaner.
The General Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the physical cleanliness of the community meets the established standards for safety and appearance.
Responsible for all basic cleaning around community and the apartment buildings. Cleans floors and rooms, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. Trash removal.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas in clubhouse.
Position requires at least 1 years’ experience in general cleaning/custodial or equivalent field.
Equipment Requirement: Required to wear back support belt, wear goggles when working with specific equipment, wear masks and gloves and other PPE as tasks dictate.
Work Hours: 40 hours per week. May require some overtime. Weekends as circumstances warrant.
Equipment/Machinery/Tools: An employee in this position must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following tools: floor buffer, vacuum, carpet shampooer.
NOTE: Lifting and carrying of weights exceeding 40 lbs. is to be accomplished with assistance from one or more persons. Examples of heaviest items lifted include washer/dryers, refrigerators, A/C units, abandoned sofas, etc.
Must be able to work in a customer service-oriented environment. Perform duties in a timely manner while meeting daily deadlines.
Work as part of a team, while completing assignments independently.
Take direction from the property manager and maintenance supervisor.
Will interact with co-workers, supervisors, residents and the general public in a professional and pleasant manner.
