SRG Global is Hiring a Quality Engineer Near Covington, GA
The role of the Quality Engineer is to improve Customer Satisfaction, and support/ lead plant Quality improvements.
What You Will Do
- Improve and protect the customer's scorecard
- Respond to customer portals for corrective actions
- Provide engineering support to resolve customer concerns
- Identify root cause and corrective action for quality concerns
- Support new product launches with Engineering team
- Work with plant production team and drive improvements
- Support APQP team for plant quality documents to customers/ Quality contact for APQP
- Provide guidance and support to plant APQP technician
- Experience working in a Quality function in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading projects
- Experience trouble-shooting in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality systems (Ex.: IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or TS 16949)
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience working in the automotive industry
