State of South Carolina is Hiring a Training Center Manager Near Columbia, SC

Job Responsibilitieswill play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and strategic direction of our training center. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective training programs aimed at equipping individuals with disabilities with the necessary skills and resources to be successful. Additionally, you will manage a team of trainers and support staff, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
Job Duties
  • Oversees curriculum development and implementation for all training center programs. Ensures consumers are progressing in training and instructors are effective.
  • Ensure that all administrative duties necessary for the adequate implementation of the programs are accomplished, including the development of program policies and procedures, hiring and training of staff, and participation in budget reviews and development.
  • Manages the Residential Facility Supervisor.
  • Be available for emergencies, and consultations through the assigned cellphone.
  • Ensure that the training facility services provided adequately meet the physical, social, independent living, and vocational goals of all consumers.
  • Ensure the safety of all Consumers at the Training Center.
  • Responds to program and work-related questions, problems, complaints, and grievances from consumers.

Minimum And Additional RequirementsA bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Additional RequirementsMust have experience with residential program management. Experience with curriculum development and effectiveness. Ability to supervise instructors and measure the effectiveness of instruction provided to consumers. Possess effective communication skills to convey to both consumers and instructors the goal of training and residential programs. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as a part of a team. Responsible for meeting all designated productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision. Requires travel in and out of state.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in residential rehabilitation or education, disability-related skills training, and/or residential program management. Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
