Description
Seeking Material Handlers for our location in Colchester, Ct!
Schedule : 1st shift, 10am 6 : 30pm
Salary : $17 per hour with a 0.60 differential
Mandatory Overtime
Qualifications :
- Must be able to read and write english
- Ability to calculate quantities, count and match numbers
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, twist, stoop and reach repeatedly
- Able to manipulate materials and equipment in accordance with procedures
- Ability to maintain a fast, safe, accurate work pace for 8-10 hours
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to remain alert while working on repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability work with a team and independently
- Computer experience preferred, ability to key information, and read data on a screen required
Key Measurements :
- Proficiency and flexibility in performing all departmental tasks
- Speed and accuracy in completing tasks
- Spotting damage and errors before shipment
- Low rate of returns due to filling / packing errors
- Consistently follows safety protocols
- Little or no damage to merchandise or equipment
