- Maintain, operate, adjust, and monitor treatment plant pumps, motors, chemical feed systems and other equipment under direction of senior operating staff and process engineer to assure optimum plant performance.
- Maintain, operate, and adjust gatehouse valves, screens, grates, reservoirs and related appurtenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance and general housekeeping
- Compile, maintain, and update accurate maintenance documentation, plant log and various quality reports.
- Grow your skills through formal & side-by-side training, and have opportunities for career advancement
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical skills, exhibited by related mechanical experience, or a minimum of a two year university or technical school degree or equivalent, or a combination of education and related experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to operate a diverse assortment of mechanical and electrical tools, including test and calibration equipment, pneumatic tools, cutting, hand, and power tools.
- $21.00 & up, based on experience
- Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.00
