Make a Difference in Patients' Lives: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Chambersburg, PA!
Trusted Staffe is partnering with a regional Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Chambersburg, PA to find a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This day shift position (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation) offers the chance to make a real impact on the lives of patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to improve patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
  • Document treatment progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff members on communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting (preferred).
  • Strong clinical skills in adult dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong documentation skills.
