• Comtronix, a Pye Barker Fire & Safety company, is hiring a Security Service Technician at our Casper branch in Casper, WY.

  Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience installing, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.

  • Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Installation and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems.
    • System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards.
    • Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center.
    • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security equipment.
    • Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
    • Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
    • Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
    • Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
    • Perform other duties as required.

  • Education & Required Skills:

    • High School Diploma / GED
    • Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms.
    • Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP
    • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Must read and speak English.
    • Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License

  • Experience:

    • Prior experience in inspections, field service, and / or installation preferred but not required.
