DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Liquor Store Clerk 2 Itinerant is shift lead work which requires travels as needed. You will be responsible overseeing the work of lower-level clerks and participating in the performance of routine duties such as engaging in customer service, ringing sales on a cash register, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, building displays, and cleaning the store.
As lead, you will also provide on-the-job training to lower-level store employees regarding store procedures and policies, assign and review the work, complete accounting and inventory reports, oversee cash management issues, and resolve customer service and product-related issues.
Routine store duties are performed and directed independently, while you will have the opportunity to seek guidance from a manager or an assistant manager for new or unusual circumstances.
The manager will support you and your team in adherence to policy and procedure as well as achieving your overall performance goals.

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
