Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting
  • Design financial models, reporting and dashboards to analyze variances and key operating metrics
  • Be strategic and operationally focused for all fiscal management, business investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting while helping to drive the company’s financial strategy
  • Oversight of banking and cash management
  • Support business development and acquisition businesses
  • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify key financial trends for recommendations for improvement of organization’s investment policies and practices.
  • Responsible for financial reviews of monthly expenses, forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Communicate financial results and projections inclusive of detailed summaries, reports, recommendations, and trend analysis.
  • Support audit, tax and financial statement preparation as needed.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested.
  • Cash flow modeling and analysis to support capital requests and long-term planning.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, including cost reduction, automation, systems enhancement, etc.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn acquisition valuation models and analysis.
  • Actively participate in the annual financial planning process by supporting Business Leadership with the compilation of the annual plan for their business units.
  • Advise and implement tax-efficient Real Estate planning structures and strategies to support overall charitable giving.
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of issues when questions arise.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Proven 5 years experience in finance, accounting, tax leadership role with oversight of financial operations, audits and financial statement preparation and presentation.
  • CPA certification or relevant 5 years experience in finance, accounting or tax.
  • Knowledge of real estate/residential development accounting is helpful.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems, e.g Sage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

The expectation will be to own the accounting and reporting of the operating and development entities and deliver high-quality analyses and insights that assist the management team with short- and long-range financial decisions and understanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
