This position has physically demanding work and fast-paced expectations. In a typical factory setting, the primary duty in this role is weighing powdered ingredients to specifications and operating a large mill. This department creates the rubber that we use to make all of our other products!

Location: 665 McHenry Street, Burlington, WI

Available Shifts: 3rd

Pay: $28.09/hr shift premium

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating mixers, weigh scales, the mill, and batch off equipment.
• Recording and submitting accurate data on quality, work records, etc.
• Performing department safety checklists as assigned.
• Contributing to our safe environment by following safety procedures and making suggestions.
• Engaging in continuous learning to keep our processes up to date and efficient. This includes cross training to gain skills in other departments, as well as training others within your work area.

Requirements:

• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to comprehend and use measuring devices.
• Ability to perform the job and meet production and quality targets on a consistently.
• Ability to use computers and computerized equipment.
• Ability to think critically and independently.
• Must possess or be able to obtain certification to operate a fork lift.
• Minimum height of 5 8
• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
• Normal factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
