Provide statewide training and support to the Vermont Pathways to Partnerships (VTP2P) federal grant and the Vermont I-Team project at the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion.

Both projects provide support to students with disabilities to transition successfully to adulthood. The state of Vermont received the VTP2P grant to create new approaches to transition services for children and youth with disabilities.

The I-Team project provides statewide technical assistance, training, and supports for students with complex needs. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in education, occupational therapy, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Understanding of needs of transition age youth and young adults with disabilities.
• Understanding of what successful transition to adulthood looks like for youth and young adults with disabilities.
• Demonstrated experience designing and leading relevant trainings.
• Demonstrated experience with creating accessible resources and leading accessible events.
• Demonstrated experience of effective collaboration with a team.

Desirable Qualifications

• Lived experience with disability or another historically marginalized group navigating transition from high school to adulthood.
• Previous work providing services or supports to youth and young adults with disabilities.
• Understanding of evidence-based strategies for delivering trainings and technical assistance.
• Demonstrated experience using innovative approaches to training and technical assistance including the use of technology and
• Previous work on a project with similar scaling up from pilot to statewide scope.
• Great at building strong working relationships, respects different opinions, and can bring people together to reach shared goals

Anticipated Pay Range $55,000 to $70,000
