Supervisor Title: Executive Chef
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Follows State regulations for sanitation to prevent and/or eliminate the spread of bacteria. Completes daily cleaning assignments within proper time frame.

- Cleans floors and walls in kitchen and cafeteria.
- Cleans small and large kettles, steamers and carts daily.
- Cleans dish machine after each use and lets the parts air dry.
- Cleans all service ware including pots and pans.
- Stores all tableware and other items in proper area.
- Properly disposes of trash after each meal.
- Delivers food carts and nourishments to all dining service areas.
- Assist in dining room and bistro areas.
- Collects soiled dishes throughout the dining room and stacks items in bus pans.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum completion of eighth grade or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
- Must obtain all local, state, and federal food safety certifications; including but not limited to Serv Safe certification within one year of hire. All certifications must be current while employed. Copies of certification(s) must be provided to the Department and Human Resources.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. *
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
