Minimum 2 yrs experience in an outpatient setting. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK!
*BLS required.
*EPIC
*MUST BE CERTIFIED! Any of following accepted - AAH, AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, RMA, NHCWA, NAHP or NRMA
*Cardiology exp preferred.
*12 lead ECG, Pulse Oximetry, Vital Signs - BP, Respirations, Temp, Pulse
*Record History, Meds, Allergies
*Labeling of specimens
*Venipuncture
Patient Diagnoses: Heart Failure with preserved EF, Heart Failure with reduced EF, Amyloidosis, Pulmonary Hypertension
Heart Failure Clinic located inside the hospital at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Patients are seen either by MD or APP during the appt. Office Staff generally includes at least one RN, CMA, Front office (scheduler), APP, physician and pharmacist. The CMA is responsible to room patients, check blood pressure, Oxygen saturations, heart rate*** perform EKG and complete medication reconciliation. CMA will also perform follow-up phone calls including lab results, refill prescriptions and assist with occasional triage calls.
