SPECTRAFORCE is Hiring a Warehouse Worker I Near Burlington, NC
Duration : 6 months (POSSIBILITY OF CONVERSION)
Shift : 1 st Shift. Mon – Fri. 8am – 5pm.
Location : Burlington, NC 27215DescriptionDay to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project/Assignment:Main responsibilities will be processing returned IT equipment that comes in daily. This will include unboxing, placing on the RMA table to be scanned, and sorting. Once sorted, they would help in removing hard drives and staging them for destruction. Additional responsibilities would be to help out in the shipping department. This would include picking/packing orders and processing them on the UPS/Fedex terminals for shipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse such as forklift, receiving, picking, packing, shipping
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Warehouse/forklift experience.
- Shipping – ability to use a scanning gun
- General computer skills – Email/Basic Excel
- Perform daily processing of IT RMA equipment which includes scanning assets, unboxing equipment, and sorting for disposal or retention.
- Assist in hard drive removal from returned PC/Laptops/Servers as well as recording of asset/serial information into a spreadsheet
- Assist in preparation of returned equipment for destruction or sale
- Load and unload trucks with pallet jack and/or forklift
- Verify counts of incoming shipments against packing slips and PO’s
- Receive items in the LabCorp ERP system
- Tag pallets and boxes with appropriate item numbers/descriptions
- Put incoming inventory away in designated locations
- Pick and complete orders in scanning gun
- Pack orders for shipment
- Ship orders using Fedex and UPS terminals
