Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gauges. Responsible for all activities in regards to calibration of both handheld and stationary equipment. Provide precise measurements for production parts, execute first piece sample and follow on measurements.Author metrology related SOPs and provide guidance to manufacturing floor personnel when required. Manage critical parts for instrumentation and implement solutions to prevent deviations and increase instrument reliability. Assume overall responsibilty for metrology lab activities and related metrology areas such as MSA and SPC.
