Soliant is Hiring a Pharmacy technician Near Burlingame, CA
Minimum 1 years pharmacy experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Burlingame, CA. The selected candidate will primarily work with automated dispensing cabinets located in various nursing homes to provide essential services and support.
This is initially a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs. All work locations are conveniently situated within approximately 20 miles of each other, including Burlingame, San Bruno, Castro Valley, Saratoga, and Atherton.

Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Visit nursing homes equipped with automated dispensing cabinets to provide pharmaceutical support and resolve any related issues.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing and administration.
3. Perform medication inventory management tasks, including restocking automated dispensing cabinets as needed.
4. Utilize pharmacy software systems to input and process prescriptions accurately.
5. Maintain compliance with relevant state and federal pharmacy regulations.
6. Assist pharmacists in various pharmacy operations, including medication compounding and labeling.
7. Provide exceptional customer service to nursing home staff and residents.
8. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
9. Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and interns as needed.
10. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a valid California Pharmacy Technician license.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy in pharmacy operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work schedules.
