Cardinal Foods is Hiring a Quality Technician 2nd Shift Near Burgaw, NC

​​​​​​Role and Responsibilities​

Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Quality Technician will oversee system and product quality from start to finish. The person in this role is responsible for pre-operational inspections, managing quality of product during production through quality control tests, and for the food safety of the product through HACCP validations and verifications for CCPs (critical control points).

Quality Technicians will be tasked with holding operations team accountable to producing high quality product and upholding GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) in the process. Additionally, QA technicians will complete audits and inspections at prescribed schedules and must adhere to all company food safety directives and follow regulatory oversight protocols.

Prior food handling and processing experience is desired.
