Position: Dishwasher/Janitor

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Janitor to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our bakery operations. Your primary responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, taking out the trash, and performing general janitorial duties. This position requires some lifting, so candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Duties:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.

- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors

- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies

- Empty trash cans and recycling bins

- Dust and wipe down surfaces

- Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment

- Notify management of any repairs needed

- Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or related roles

- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures

- Strong attention to detail to ensure high cleaning standards are met

- Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
