Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to automate workflows and enhance infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration and disaster recovery.
- Evaluate systems, make recommendations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Design and implement infrastructure monitoring and security controls.
- Automate services through CI/CD solutions.
- 7 years experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions.
- 5 years as a DevOps/SRE professional.
- Proficient in AWS services and managed products.
- Admin experience with Snowflake and Informatica.
- Familiarity with Terraform and version control software.
- Prior exposure to monitoring tools and scripting languages.
- Fluent in Python and experience with Airflow and NIFI technologies.
- Transparency to ask questions and seek clarity.
- Organized and methodical approach to tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Terraform, SQL, AWS, Snowflake.
- Familiarity with scripting, Linux, and Windows administration.
- Exposure to Airflow is a bonus.
- Manage infrastructure and deployments for 5-10 servers.
- Conduct manual deployments and work on data migration and cleanup.
- Collaborate with GIS and security groups for compliance and monitoring.
