Akkodis is seeking a Datacenter Engineer for a Contract role with a client located in Burbank CA 91521

Pay range: $70- $75/hr. On W2, The pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hybrid - expectations 3 days per week onsite

Responsibilities:

• Expand and continue to develop Data Center standards for security, stability, and growth.
• Perform ongoing data center security, growth, physical space, performance, stability and other audits.
• Coordinate systems deployments and return shipments from our primary engineering facilities.
• Cross-functional collaboration with other customer’s Technology teams.
• Basic Knowledge of out-of-band / lights-out server communication methods.
• Basic Knowledge of Structured Cabling Standards.
• Basic Knowledge of Data Center Power and Cooling Standards.
• Basic Knowledge of Data Center infrastructure design.
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams and different personality types.

Must Haves:

• Storage Knowledge
• Systems Admin - (Linux, Windows Server, OSX)
• Previous Experience as a Systems Engineer (5-10 years)
