Job Title: Procurement Manager

Overview: The Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement process within the Vintage Broncos organization. He/she are responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement activities align with the company's goals and objectives. The Procurement Manager collaborates closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop strategies to optimize procurement processes while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

· Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at the best possible value. Continuously assess market conditions, industry trends, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

· Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

· Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks. Draft, review, and execute contracts, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements and protecting the organization's interests.

· Procurement Process Optimization: Streamline procurement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. Implement best practices, standardize procurement workflows, and leverage technology solutions to automate repetitive tasks and enhance decision-making capabilities.

· Budget Management: Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of procurement-related expenses.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments such as operations, finance, and logistics to understand their requirements and priorities. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment between procurement activities and organizational objectives.

· Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and supplier financial stability. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize potential impacts on business operations.

· Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing procurement activities. Promote ethical practices and integrity in all dealings with suppliers and other external stakeholders, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and transparency.

· Metrics: Creation of reporting metrics to support defined KPIs

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

· Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 5 of progressive responsibility in a similar role, preference for the automotive industry.

· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade others to achieve desired outcomes.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change initiatives.

· Certification(s) in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred.

Additional Information:

· This position may require occasional travel to meet with suppliers or attend industry conferences and events.

· The Procurement Manager reports to the Director of Operations and may supervise a team of procurement professionals depending on the size and structure of the organization.
