Main Job Tasks And Responsibilities
- Maintain Safety as number one priority
- Follow Quality Assurance standards
- Test material using various lab equipment
- Evaluate returned material for defect accountability
- Communicate regularly with production and quality management
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Responsible for document management systems
- Complete any additional special assignments as assigned
- Two (2) years of experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a natural science (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, etc.) preferred but not required
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience a plus
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
