Automotive Installation Technician

10-75 Emergency Vehicles is a manufacturer of purpose-built vehicles for law enforcement, fire departments, emergency medical services, public works, and contractors. We aim to provide our customers with custom-tailored vehicles to help them complete their mission. We are a casual company that works hard to make sure our customers get the service they need. We are seeking an energetic professional who is okay with wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of automotive installation related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Job Responsibilities

· Installation of warning lights, sirens, mobile radios, computers, equipment consoles, custom wiring harness, other electronic equipment.

· Drill holes, mount brackets, perform all physical tasks associated with modifying vehicles for the acceptance of emergency-related equipment

· Remove and re-install OEM vehicle interior trim

· Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with wiring and equipment

· Continuous learning of new products, skills and techniques

· Assist with parts, shipping, receiving and inventory as needed

· Complete all required paperwork and documentation

· Maintain safe, clean and orderly work area and tools

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Our hours of operation are usually 7:00 am to 3:30 pm but can be adjusted. Our working atmosphere is family-oriented and casual. We offer paid time off, health care, vision, dental, 401K and product discounts.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Experience/knowledge of 12 Volt electrical systems

· Experience with installation of emergency lighting desired, but not required

· Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) is desired, but not required

· Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to read, write and visually distinguish colors

· Able to identify electrical circuits

· Able to work on and see small objects

· Basic computer experience

· Ability to bend, twist, squat, crouch, kneel, reach and work in confined spaces

· Frequent lifting, moving and carrying objects up to 50lbs

· Able to communicate well with others

· Be prompt and prepared to work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
