Expert Contracting of WNY, LLC is Hiring a Roll Off Driver Near Buffalo, NY
Duties:
- Operate a roll off trailer & pick up truck to transport and deliver waste materials to designated locations
- Safely load and unload waste containers onto the truck using mechanical equipment
- Drive the truck to and from job sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
- Communicate with dispatch regarding job assignments, changes, and delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Skills:
- Experience operating and maneuvering a roll off dumpster trailer or similar heavy equipment
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the truck
- Capable of safely lifting heavy objects during the loading and unloading process
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
