JOB TYPE: Part-time, Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Rec Room Buffalo (79 W Chippewa St, Buffalo, NY 14202)

HOURS: Weekend evenings availability required

Job Summary:
Rec Room, a live music bar & restaurant is looking to hire a Barback/Busser to assist Bartenders and Staff maintaining area cleanliness, resupplying, and providing necessary support to ensure accommodating service.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes/supplies are prepared and ready ahead of the opening of the bar.

• Stocks and maintains ice wells with appropriate drinks along with stocking other bar supplies as necessary.

• Responsible for inventory, stocking, ticket handling, checklists, and par level procedures.

• Adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.

• Maintains cleanliness in club by collecting all trash and recycles.

• Clears and cleans tables and booths continuously throughout shift.

• Maintains bar supplies and keeps it clean and organized, wiping down all surfaces.

• Restocks and prepares supplies for shift changes and end on night close.

• Assists with ID checks guest incident procedures and patron over consumption issues.

• Assist in serving beverages and food when needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, providing the upmost hospitality and professionalism.

• Ability to multitask.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Abide by Company’s safety procedures and policies.

• Knowledge of bar maintenance.

• Ability to follow directions and adhere to standard operating procedures.

Education and Experience:

• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk during entire shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, lift, push and pull objects frequently.
• Must be able to lift and carry sacks, cases, and bus tubs of up to 50 lbs., multiple times per shift
