Eurogerm KB is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Budd Lake, NJ

Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to support, organize, and monitor the Quality Improvement/Compliance Program of the company ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Food Safety Quality Program as well as collection from all required sources, including data analysis and records keeping.

Duties:

  • Perform line checks and quality tests on in-process products
  • Conduct environmental swabbing on plant equipment
  • Data collection, data entry and record keeping
  • Collect and compile production and quality records
  • Inspect incoming raw ingredients and materials and complete inspection forms
  • Inspect finished products and return products
  • Troubleshoot line issues in cooperation with supervisor and operation manager
  • Administration of QA functions to ensure product quality and food safety conform to SQF standards
  • Documentation of food safety and quality programs: GMP/ HACCP/SQF
  • Ensure all SOPs are followed and take corrective actions when needed
  • Monitor plant for GMPs, SOPs, personal hygiene, product handling and HACCP requirements
  • Retain Sample Collection
  • Sanitation verification
  • Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Skills:

- Proficient in quality assurance and quality control practices
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with calipers, coordinate measuring machines, and other measurement tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
