POSITION SUMMARY
:

Primary responsibilities include assisting Administration or Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Division with organization, collection, and input of data in relevant databases. Work requires proficiency in several computer programs to perform requested tasks.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • Needs to be proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and related databases to enable data input, tracking and/or design of necessary forms.
  • Assists with coordination of contracted provider reviews, including scheduling, documentation of meeting, or other necessary duties.
  • Assists with data collection, organization, and input as required.
  • Assists with maintenance of relevant databases, including CQI database, CWIS/ACYS, placement database, web-based Encompass Child Welfare Training Center Database, MARS database and HCSIS database.
  • Assists Program Specialist I or II with expungement functions per state guidelines.
  • Assists with scheduling, coordination, enrollment, and maintenance of annual staff training, including entering, maintaining new hire demographic information and training information in the training liaison specific web-based Encompass Child Welfare Training Center Database and MARS database.
  • Coordinates drug swab program, including reordering supplies, communication with drug swab providers, ensuring staff receive results in timely manner and maintains records.
  • Assists with organizing and ensuring timely submission of mandated paperwork related to fatalities/near fatalities. Follows up with agency casework staff to ensure timely submission of mandated data collection tools. Assists with scheduling fatality/near fatality review meetings. Maintains records of District Attorney Certifications regarding the release of review reports and follows up to ensure Certifications are kept up-to-date or discontinued upon the completion of court proceedings.
  • Attend Child Death Review meetings quarterly, and update Child Death Review statistics into state data base.
  • Assists with ensuring EPSDT notices are sent to foster parents and placement vendors as per regulation.
  • Perform related computer and CQI duties as required.
  • Participate in formal and on the job training.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High school or equivalent.
  • Position requires Microsoft Suite knowledge and minimum one year experience in Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Word and Access.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Access.
  • Knowledge of computer peripheral equipment operating techniques.
  • Knowledge of IT techniques.
  • Knowledge of computer operating techniques.
  • Ability to think in terms of computer logic.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
