Lead Cook & Kitchen Manger needed at new Bryn Mawr sandwich bar.
Pinwheel Provisions, a unique concept in food retailing launched in 2019, is looking for help at its soon-to-open sandwich bar, the 'Wich Way. Pinwheel is a friendly, creative and welcoming environment in which the right staff members thrive. The requirements of the position are:
- Perfectly executing a small menu of healthy, globally-inspired lunch options- sandwiches, soups and salads only
- Developing recipes for new menu items
- Hours: 10am-3pm Mon. Tues. Thurs. Fri. Sat. (closed Wed. & Sun.) some flexibility with hours is possible after kitchen operations are well established
- Familiarity w/ food safety & sanitization practices
- Inventory organization, management and order placing with suppliers
- Training and management of prep staff
- Ensuring a great customer experience with every order
