About the team

The Payments Professional Services team at FIS is looking to add an energetic, talented, and experienced developer/technical lead to our growing team.

The Payments Professional Services team provides our clients with customized solutions to meet their demanding business needs, including application development, testing, solution design and consulting.

Our team utilizes Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will interact directly with clients, internal stakeholders, business partners and your project team.

We will provide you with many opportunities for challenging assignments and career growth.

What you will be doing

· You will be designing, developing, and implementing solutions for client-initiated projects for our P1D/Connex on HP application processing 2.3 billion card transactions per month for FIS.

· Participating in the planning, definition, technical design, and coding of solutions.

· You will work with internal project teams, business leaders, product managers, and directly with clients.

· You will have opportunity to grow your skillsets on various technologies.

What you bring

· Entry level professional role with development experience in Connex/Base24 skillset.

· Typically requires two to three years of work experience in software development, quality control, systems analysis, and support.

· Technical skills must have:

· HPE Tandem NonStop.

· TACL command prompt and scripting language.

· COBOL programming language.

· SCOBOL programming language.

· Guardian utilities.

· SQL MP/MX.

· CrystalPoint OutsideView Tool.

Bonus if you have

· Hands-on working knowledge on Connex on HP NonStop application.

· Programming experience in TAL/pTAL/EPTAL/XPTAL.

· Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

· Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained.

· Consults directly with clients and may travel to client site.

· Work with the 24/7 production operations staff to resolve arising issues that require Level2 support.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
