Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The BCaBA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, conduct parent training, and provide ongoing support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and other behavioral assessments as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct supervisions and parent training sessions as necessary per case.
  • Provide direct support and training to clients, families, and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and consistent implementation of treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavior analysis.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or related field.
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
  • Active Medicaid provider number required.
