Position Overview: The Systems Administrator is responsible for the overall performance and maintenance of all hardware and software systems, including active directory, VMware, databases, SANs, IIS, Linux servers, web proxies, scripting, and cloud-based services (SaaS, IaaS, and other). The System Administrator will manage user accounts, monitor system performance, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain a secure network environment. - Maintain the security and integrity of servers, systems, and networks.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Install and configure hardware and software systems.
- Manage storage and centralized disk systems, such as SANs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain scripting and automation of servers.
- Provide technical assistance to users regarding hardware and software systems.
- Administer cloud-based services (SaaS, IaaS, and more).
- Maintain and monitor web proxy services.
- Maintain and administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in systems administration.
- Proficient in Windows Server/Storage & Server backup strategies
- VMware Experience
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, SCADA, and SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, IBM).
- Experience with scripting and automation.
