Job description

We are hiring Packer/Shippers. Full Time, 3rd shift ($14 – plus $2 shift differential for 3rd shift)

What are the job duties?

• Create different sizes of boxes to have ready for the workload of the day.
• As jobs are being moved from the cutting table, ensure quality and look for any imperfections such as color and alignment.
• Count the specific product to make sure the box contains enough of what the order requires.
• Ensure that the packed box is properly sealed to take to the shipping area.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Working conditions
The Production Associate position will work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with loud noises from machines and varying temperatures depending on the weather.

Physical requirements
This position will have the following physical requirements:

• Standing/Walking (at least 75% of shift)
• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling up to 40 lb. (at least 50% of shift)
• Bending/Twisting/Squatting (at least 50% of shift)
