Bladed Body is a Self Defense and Fitness brand, focused on teaching people how to protect and preserve their best lives through the use of education and exercise. Started by a 30-year Martial Artist, Red Cross Instructor, athlete and life-long health and fitness enthusiast Jae Sinclair, Bladed Body is not just a brand but a lifestyle. The name “Bladed Body” is a reference to a defensive fighting posture as well as “shredding weight” and “getting cut” - all things you will learn as part of the Bladed Body community!
Our work environment includes:
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative first aid training courses to individuals and groups based on the American Red Cross Training Program
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials that align with established curriculum guidelines
- Teach participants essential first aid skills such as CPR, wound care, and emergency response procedures
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including classroom lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive activities
- Assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and certification status
Qualifications
- Red Cross CPR / First Aid / AED Instructor Certification
- Proficient in first aid techniques, including CPR and wound care
- Experience in classroom instruction or adult education preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting information to large groups
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
