Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our pawnbroker company as the Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our multiple locations and leading a team of District Leaders. This position requires exceptional leadership abilities, a strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage and Inspire: You will be responsible for creating a positive and motivating work environment for the District Leaders and the entire operational team. By fostering a culture of engagement, you will inspire the team to deliver outstanding performance and achieve the company's goals.

2. Training and Development: You will develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the District Leaders. This will include providing guidance on effective leadership, operational processes, customer service, and sales techniques to ensure consistent performance across all locations.

3. Drive for Results: As the Director of Operations, you will be accountable for driving operational excellence and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). You will work closely with the District Leaders to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.

4. Adherence to KPIs: You will establish and communicate clear KPIs and performance targets for each location. It will be your responsibility to monitor and analyze performance data, identify trends, and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure the achievement of financial and operational objectives.

5. Retention: You will develop strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the District Leader positions. This will involve implementing effective recruitment processes, providing ongoing support and mentorship, and creating career development opportunities.

6. Core Business Objectives: You will work closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with the company's overall business objectives. This will require a deep understanding of the pawnbroker industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive growth and maintain a strong market position.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the pawnbroker industry or a similar retail environment.

- Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of effectively leading and inspiring teams.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

- Demonstrated knowledge of key performance indicators and financial metrics related to pawnbroker operations.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices within the pawnbroker industry.
