BVM is looking for a HR Specialist to join our growing HR team. This role is aimed at implementing scalable recruiting strategies and practices to support our growth objectives. You will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment and work closely with all areas of the business to identify departmental needs to attract high caliber candidates. Along with their recruitment responsibilities, you will also perform Human Resources related duties to support the team. This is not a remote position and you will need to be flexible in the days that you are able to come into the office to meet with hiring managers and candidates. Responsibilities:
· Drives the recruitment process and maintains full oversight of the interview process, including, but not limited to scheduling and participating in phone, video, and on site interviews for all levels of positions, reference checking, and other preemployment tasks as necessary
· Leads intake meeting with team leads to identify position needs and recruitment strategy, including job specifications, duties, qualifications, and timeline
· Create job postings and advertising initiatives
· Develop process for application screening to create a short list of candidates
· Partners with managers and HR Director to develop and review job descriptions
· Develop proactive candidate pipelines/strategies to source qualified, high quality candidates who align with our culture, utilizing LinkedIn, Indeed, and social and digital media channels
· Schedule interviews and coordinate interview logistics
· Provides ongoing organization and maintenance of recruitment records, interview notes and electronic records to ensure compliance
· Tracks and maintains recruiting, hiring, and turnover metrics and reports
· Works with HR Director to develop and design compensation packages and policies that align with strategic goals of the company
· Provides back up for Benefits Specialist, along with other HR duties
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
· Knowledge of ethical and professional recruiting requirements, standards, and laws
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
· 3-5 years of previous full cycle recruitment experience, required
· 1-3 years of compensation, preferred
