$100K Sign-on & relocation bonus eligible!

$150K-175K base plus production!

Brookfield Animal Hospital is an extraordinary AAHA and progressive four-doctor small animal hospital located near Danbury, CT seeking an experienced veterinarian - upcoming new grads are also encouraged to apply! Our doctors work collaboratively on cases to share knowledge and insight, and we strive to learn from each other. We are well-staffed to allow our veterinarians to focus on their patients and client communication. Our culture is easy-going yet busy. We enjoy having fun and laughing. We will also cover the cost of Membership to VIN and Membership to Vet Girl.

New grads and experienced DVMs alike are encouraged to apply! For new graduates, we ill tailor a mentorship program to your specific needs and interests so you will get the best support possible while starting your career!

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries

• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care

• Perform soft tissue surgeries and dentistries

• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and pets

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree

• Licensure in good standing in the state of Connecticut or ability to get licensure in CT

Brookfield Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited animal hospital proudly serving the Brookfield, CT community. We are committed to quality veterinary care for our patients and individualized service for our clients. We are a full-service hospital providing both wellness and medical services, dentistry and oral surgery, second opinion consultations, internal medicine workups including intensive care hospitalization, and both routine and more advanced surgical care. We work our cases up fully utilizing our full in-house laboratory (including CBC/Chemistry/Urinalysis/Coagulation testing), ultrasound, and Tonopen. We have a board-certified cardiologist and surgeons who provide in-hospital specialty procedures and there are multiple referral hospitals close by for cases requiring more complex diagnostics or treatments. Our beautiful 8,800 square foot facility is well equipped with both digital radiography and digital dental radiography, cryosurgery, therapeutic laser, heated surgical cages, high-speed dental unit, and state-of-the-art sanitation systems in our boarding kennel.
