REMOTERole is open due to internal promotion into Finance. Great opportunity for someone who usually gets bored (not happening here!), enjoys partnering with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal teams, as well as assisting with technical projects such as acquisitions and dispositions.
Highly visible role where you would assist in performing all general accounting and project accounting duties. Responsibilities include managing month end close including journal entries and complex account reconciliations, preparing monthly reporting packages, reviewing contracts, researching & implementing new revenue standards, and thinking out-of-the-box!
Perfect opportunity for someone who isn’t married to accounting because this company want this person to grow their career here and ultimately move into a different finance function!
What makes you a good fit for the Senior Accountant role?
- MBA or Bachelor's in Accountancy; CPA
- 5 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting with lease accounting; OR corporate accounting experience
- Experience with monthly close, contract management, technical accounting research, and project management
- Excitement to support C-Suite in a newly created function
- Those with keen eye for detail and perfectionists need apply!
- 100% remote with 1-4 trips to Chicago office a year
